What is the workflow?
    • The contributor donates the price of the sacrifice to the mawkib in Iraq, and the mawkib delivers the meat to people in need in Yemen.
    • The mawkib documents the slaughter process in Yemen with a video that is sent to the donor.
    • The costs may vary slightly, but are generally stable:
      • Sheep sacrifice price: $100
      • Calf sacrifice price (by weight): $600 – $800
      • Camel sacrifice price (by weight): $800 – $1,000
Udhiya (Eid Sacrifices)
    • Udhiya is a core part of the slaughter projects.
    • Animals are purchased more than a month before Eid al‑Adha.
    • A field is rented to raise the sheep and veterinarians are contracted to ensure livestock health.
    • Slaughtering and distributing more than 1,000 sacrifices within a limited time is a major challenge.
